As soon as Maximillion arrived in Honiso, he found a trainer that wanted his Charmander for a prize. As the trainer did not need a pokemon like Charmander at that moment, he decided to give it to the trainer. Moreover, as he was traveling, he was given a Lileep and so he was now travelling with it. It could definetely be helpful to him in the begining and if it was strong enough, he would let it be a permanent member of his party. And so, the trainer started searching for some rare pokemon in Isis Town that could be helpful to him in his journey with Lileep by his side.

As you reach the outskirts of town you see a gang of Makuhita! Well the boy didn't lie, they are sumo pokemon! They looked at you blankly and the leader, a rather large one with a strange headband on, stepped forward challengingly, "Maku!" it said, which meant something along the lines of, "Why are you here Human, do you wish to fing the 'Large one'"

The 'Large One' was their name for the Hariyama which led over them and not many people knew how to find it.

The trainer looked at the sumo pokemon. However, he could not see anything weird on it that could make it a rare pokemon. Makuhita were pokemon that could be found easily, after all, according to the trainer's pokedex. The child probably had not seen a Makuhita before and so he believed that it was rare. The trainer sighed and said "Ah... The boy was probably wrong..." as he turned his back in order to leave. However, he listened to Makuhita. The pokemon probably wanted to tell him something. Wondering what that could mean, the trainer asked "Hm... Makuhita... Are there any rare pokemon here?"

Makuhita nodded and somewhere distant you heard the voice of another pokemon, "Hari!" but if you tryed to proceed in the direction of the voice the makuhita stopped you. It seemed that in order to catch the Hariyama you'd have t fight the leader of this gang.

Maximillion was about to proceed towards Hariyama, but he noticed that Makuhita would not let him pass. He had to defeat it first in order to move and catch Hariyama. Seeing this as a good chance to train Lileep, the trainer said "Lileep! Stand by for battle!" as he tossed the pokemon's pokeball and Lileep appeared. Then, he pointed towards Makuhita and he said" Lileep! This is a good chance to train! Use Acid on Makuhita!". The pokemon nodded and it did so, hoping to damage Makuhita and defeat it... The battle between Lileep and Makuhita had just started.

The acid his Makuhita in the face and when he wiped it off his face was red and blotchy. It ran forward, or waddled would be a more accurate expression, and used vital throw. The pokemon thrusted forwards with it's hands and threw the lileep back to it's trainer, "MAKU!"

Although the attack was super effective against Lileep, the pokemon's good defenses helped it avoid a few of the damage. Hopefully, Lileep was still standing and ready to fight. With a happy face, the trainer pointed towards Makuhita. Then, he said "Lileep! Use Constrict and throw Makuhita on the ground!". Afterwards, Lileep's vines started extending. The pokemon was attempting to perform that attack just like its trainer commanded...

The makuhita hit the ground and the rolled away. It was out for the count but something else caught your eye. A red Makuhita? It seemed that the one you just fought wasn't the real leader, just a weak one, but this was was the leader.

"Maku!" it said before repeating the same tactic the last Makuhita had used.

[Woot! 1 more level for Lileep!]

The trainer was surprised to see Makuhita retreating. He was about to chase it to catch it, but much to his surprise, he saw another Makuhita around. That Makuhita was a red Makuhita. It was not looking like any other of the sumo pokemon. That was probably the rare pokemon the boy was talking about. When the trainer looked at it, he was outstanded. The pokemon seemed to be very rare. He would catch it no matter what. He would try his best to add it in his team. Seeing that it was eager to battle him because he defeated the other Makuhita, Maximillion pointed towards it and said "Listen Lileep! We will catch this Makuhita no matter what! Use Astonish!".

After listening to the trainer's command, the pokemon started screaming. It was screaming louder and louder as the time passed. Apparently, it was using Astonish in order to damage Makuhita. The battle between Lileep and the leader of the gang had just started and looked quite promising! Who knew what would the result of that battle be... Would Lileep or Makuhita emerge victorious?

Makuhita flinched from the sound and his attack stopped. He circled around the Lileep and then used a close quarters arm thrust, hitting it four times in different points of it's rocky exterior. It then did a backwards roll to get out of range of any vines which may be trying to attack him. this Makuhita was definitely stronger and smarter than the last.

"What strength!" were the trainer's words for the pokemon he was battling. As the time passed the trainer wanted to add that pokemon in his team more and more. It was as strong as he believed it to be for sure. However, in order to add it he had to beat it to catch it first and so he went with a plan. He pointed towards it with a serious face as he said "Stand up Lileep... You got to! You are probably the only one that can beat this Makuhita!". As soon as the pokemon listened to these words, it tried its best. It slowly got up, clearly damaged from the attacks that it received from Makuhita. It shouted "Lileep!" as it used Acid to the pokemon, hoping to cause it some more damage.

The acid blistered this makuhita's face too but it wasn't out for the count, not yet. It kicked sand at lileep, using sand attack to get it in it's eyes and then returned for another arm thrust, this time only hitting twice before moving backwards.

"Hold on, Lileep!" were the trainer's words to the pokemon which barely managed to stand due to the consecutive strikes that came from the Arm Thrust attack. This would probably be its last turn in the battle, since it was already tired because of the battle with the previous Makuhita. Maximillion said "You can do this Lileep! Use the Acid-Contrict combination!". Lileep nodded and with the last of its strength, it launched its vines towards Makuhita, which turned purple and gained the acidic power of acid. This was probably Lileep's last chance.

Makuhita was wavering with it's attacks now, it was unbalanced, tired and about to fall down. "Makuhita use arm thrust one last time!" you hear someone shout from behind a hill. Out from behind the hill stepped a young man, about 22 years of age who looked like he could fight anybody and still win.

Makuhita nodded and went to use arm thrust but because he was so unbalanced he walked straight into the acid constrict combo. "Damn," the boy said,returning his fainted Makuhita, "Did you come here looking for Hariyama?" the boy asked.

[woot! Lileep leveled up!]

The trainer was disappointed to see that the red Makuhita was actually owned by a trainer. He probably did not have a chance to catch it after all. At least, Lileep proved how much strong it was, once more... He returned his pokemon back at its pokeball. Then, he said "Well, I came here searching for some rare pokemon... I want to battle the rarest of the pokemon that reside in the city... And I was told that there is a rare pokemon here. Is it that Hariyama you are talking about?". The trainer wanted to learn what was going on...

"Yes," the other trainer nodded. "In fact Hariyama is my pokemon, I let him roam around here sometimes but there are wild ones too," The trainer gestured to the general area, "The way you handled yourself in that fight it should be easy for you to catch one, but there is a question I must ask you. Is it true you have a Gallade?"

The trainer sighed. He should not have used the Dawn Stone in front of everyone, after all. However, he could not lie to the trainer either. He said "Yes, I do. In fact, I got Gallade today... I was lucky enough to find a Dawn Stone and evolve it from Kirlia. And what a coincidence... I was given Kirlia today as well. I guess I can declare it my lucky day.". He took a deep breath and then he continued "So, where did you find that Hariyama?". The trainer definetely wanted to learn where the fight type pokemon resided...

"It was hiding behind a restaurant," the boy explained to Max, "It was hungry so I brought some food out for it and we've been friends ever since. And all of these," he gestured towards the makuhita's, "Are his kids, I had a breeder friend of mine breed him with her ditto." He released the Hariyama and it immediately gave the boy a bear hug, this clearly was a strong friendship. The Hariyama then pointed at you, confused.

"Ah, I see..." were Maximillion's words to the trainer. Then, he looked at the pokemon coming out of the pokeball. He watched at it hugging the trainer but he did not react. The fact that his pokemon abandoned him once, made him not show any feelings at situations like these. He could understand that he was getting more soft towards pokemon since he started his new journey, but still he was not reacting when he watched scenes like this one. Afterwards, he looked at Hariyama which was pointing towards him. He could not understand why the pokemon did so... He said "Do you want to meet my pokemon? Okay, I guess... Come out Riolu!" as he tossed Riolu's pokeball and made it appear right in front of everyone.

Everyone looked at the Riolu. "That is a strong looking pokemon," the boy said, "It also evolves into a very powerful pokemon called Lucario, but it only works if it's happy," the boy shrugged like this wasn't a problem for him but it might present one for Max. The boy then released a Machamp and said, "You think you could beat this?"

The trainer was surprised to see Machamp, the third of the rare pokemon that resided in the town. That was definetely a surprise. The trainer he just encountered seemed to be a very strong trainer. He had a red Makuhita, as well as a Machamp and a Hariyama. If Maximillion got to battle him, he had to be careful. He said "I believe Riolu can deal with your pokemon..." hoping that the strategy he thought off about the battle with Machamp would work. This time, it was Riolu's time to prove its strength.

The Trainer laughed as it played with the Machamp's Pokéball. "I think my Machamp is out of your league. But I'll be more than happy to give you a shot." He replied as he eyed the little blue fighting Pokémon in front of him.

The Machamp let out a loud call as it looked down at the Riolu and snickered slightly before getting into a fighting stance. He had understood his trainer enough and was ready to take on the Riolu, maybe even be a little easy on him.

The Trainer put the Pokéball back in his Pokémon than looked back to Max. "So What do you say?"

"Do not underestimate me... Riolu is a pretty strong pokemon..." were the words of Maximillion to the trainer. Riolu nodded, in order to agree with the trainer and took its battle stance. It was ready to start the battle. Maximillion smiled and said "Okay Riolu. Time to show what you have got! Start with Force Palm!". The pokemon smiled. Then, it started running quickly towards Machamp. As the seconds passed, it was running faster and faster and finally while it was almost next to Machamp it moved its right hand forward, launching a shockwave from its palms that aimed towards Machamp's chest. The battle had just started.

The Machamp was pushed backwards by the Riolu's Force Palm but quickly got back onto his feet. The Machamp loomed over the Riolu as it returned to where it was originally and waited for it's owner's orders.

The trainer smiled. "Not bad." he started before continuing to talk, more to his Machamp then to Maximillion though, "Okay Machamp, Use Low Sweep."

The big fighting Pokémon nodded as his trainer ordered the attack and quickly lessened the distance between himself and the Riolu. The Machamp then feinted a Karate Chop before quickly going for the Riolu's feet. The fighting-type swept his own leg towards those of the Riolu causing him to fall.

"Use Quick Attack to dodge!" were the words of Maximillion to his Riolu. Riolu got up and it started running away quickly. As Quick Attack was a priority move, Riolu was much faster than before and so it barely managed to dodge the attack. It was very lucky. If it was hit by the attack it would probably receive a great amount of damage. Maximillion was quite happy to see that Riolu was okay for now. However, he should not relax. The battle had just started. He commanded "Riolu! Now that Machamp is still on the ground use Force Palm!". Riolu smiled and said "Riolu!" as it pointed towards it with its right hand and launched a shockwave from its palms that aimed at Machamp's legs.

The Machamp Chuckled as it was hit with Force Palm and then suddenly shook it's head, focusing. Going easy of the Riolu had been fun for a while, but now the fighting type was sick of it.

The big Pokémon hardly heard his master's call as he used Revenge on the Riolu. He stopped the Riolu and then hit it with much more strength that he had been using before.

The trainer looked at his Pokémon Angrily and then called out. "Okay, Machamp now use Seismic Toss."

The Machamp grinned at the order and lifted the Riolu with ease before throwing it to the ground, its rage building.
