TRAINING
After getting a Gallade and a Riolu in Isis Town, Maximillion Sasagawa, the twenty five years old trainer who was travelling to the Honiso Region along with his Lileep, decided to head to Mortayo City where the first Gym was. There, he would have his very first Gym Battle in the region and would have a chance to get his very first badge. He was thrilled at the idea. However, in order to have a chance to win against the powerful Gym Leader who would probably have a bunch of strong pokemon, he decided to train his Gallade...
After sending his Lileep and his Riolu back at his house to have some rest, the trainer would travel with Gallade to the city. However, before he would depart from Isis Town, he would test his Gallade in a battle with a random trainer. The trainer quickly went to the Battle Club. As soon as he entered, he went to Don George. He asked if he could battle a trainer and Don George agreed.
In no time, Don George found a trainer that wanted to battle in an one versus one battle, just like Maximillion did. The trainer was a young man who seemed to be at least twenty years old. He was around Max's age and so the trainer would have no problem to go all-out against him... After introducing themselves, the trainers summoned their pokemons and the battle was about to begin. The opponent was using a Nidoking. The battle would be intense, for sure.
"Start with Growl!" was the first word of Maximillion to his pokemon, which would start growling immediately after listening to the trainer's command. Nidoking, unable to hear the horrible growling would close his ears while Gallade was performing the move. However, Nidoking's trainer did not think the same way. Instead, he said "Stop acting like that Nidoking. That is nothing for you! Use Toxic!". Nidoking nodded. Although he could not listen to the trainer as he had his ears closed, he still could see him and he could understand what he meant. He shouted "Nidoking!" as he launched a purple poisonous ball towards Gallade in order to badly poison it. Max, though, had other plans. He pointed towards Nidoking with a smile on his face and he said "Use Teleport to dodge and then strike with Confusion!". Gallade smiled. The pokemon did not lose any chance and right before the Toxic attack was about to hit its body and engulf it with the poison, it disappeared. Afterwards, a second later it appeared behind Nidoking. Its eyes started turning Azure Blue as it was using Confusion on the drill pokemon. The drill pokemon wondered what was happening as Gallade had been moving it upwards. Maximillion pointed towards the left and said "Now, throw it on the ground!" and the psychic/ fighting type pokemon threw Nidoking down, causing it a great amount of damage...
However, Nidoking's trainer would not let his pokemon lose like that. He said "Get up Nidoking!" as the pokemon started moving up. He continued "We will not lose like that to a pokemon like this! Prove me that you are not as useless as you look!". By listening these words, Nidoking started growling angered. He wanted to satisfy his trainer so that he would not be called useless ever again. The trainer said "Use... Iron Tail!" and the drill pokemon started running towards Gallade. It jumped high on the air and as it was falling it curled its body except from its tail. The tail turned gray and metal as the move was being used. Max commanded Gallade "Endure the attack!" and Gallade moved its right hand upwards, making it collide with the Iron Tail. Although the pokemon received a great amount of damage, it still survived the attack. Afterwards, Maximillion said "Time to end this battle Gallade! Use your Confusion to finish Nidoking!". "Nidoking use Sucker Punch!" were the words of the opponent and Nidoking appeared behind Gallade in a single second, striking it and sending it flying. Gallade screamed in pain as it was send on the air. However, Max would still support it. He said "Keep with the attack!" and the pokemon's eyes started glowing once more. As it was falling, it used Confusion on Nidoking, making him levitate. Max continued "Now Teleport above him!" and Gallade did so in no time. As Gallade was falling, it grabbed Nidoking who was still on the air and the two of them fell together on the ground. However, as Gallade was on the top, it received less damage than Nidoking and survived the fall while Nidoking did not... The battle had just finished and the trainer emerged victorious!
